Study Details

The investigational drug in this research study is being developed as a supportive therapy to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, a condition where there is a problem with the way the body controls blood sugar. The study drug is also being developed as a supportive therapy to diet and exercise for the treatment of overweight or obesity. When drugs are taken together, the effectiveness or safety of one or all of the drugs used in combination may be affected. Therefore, it is important to understand the potential drug-drug interactions that may occur in order to prevent unwanted and possibly dangerous side effects or loss of effectiveness. In addition, the safety and tolerability (side effects) of the study drug will be evaluated.

Fortrea Dallas, TX is recruiting for:
- Healthy Overweight Adults, age 18-70 
- Body Mass Index 27 + 
- Study involves 2 stays totaling 21 to 32 nights & 12 follow-up visits 
- Compensation from $20,226 to $24,890 may be provided for time and participation 
- Receive $500 per qualified referral
